ABOUT THE POSITION

School District 49 is actively seeking a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant for the 2024/2025 school year. THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A ONE TIME SIGNING BONUS OF $2,500 PAYABLE ON DECEMBER 15, 2024 AND A RETENTION BONUS OF $2,500 AFTER THREE YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT PAYABLE ON JUNE 15, 2027 .

Calendar: School Year - 170 days

Reports to: Special Education Zone Administrator / Assigned Speech and Language Pathologist

Hourly rate of pay: Starting pay is $29.35 per hour to $37.37 per hour depending upon previous relevant experience. Actual starting pay rate will be determined after a review of the work experience provided on the job application.

Full-time or Part-time: Full-time

Qualifications: Incumbent must hold a SLPA authorization from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) - https://www.cde.state.co.us/cdeprof/checklist-initialspeechlanguage
