We are proud to be the oldest academic children’s hospital in Minnesota and the longest-running top-ranked children’s hospital in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.The Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RNs are able to float to the Pediatric Med/Surg units as well as the following Pediatric Critical Care units: PICU, Pediatric CVICU, Pediatric Emergency Department and the NICU. Check out more of our benefits information here: airview.org/benefits/tcmnarnThe RN role offers an additional $2.00/hour for being in the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool.This position will be working 48 hours every two weeks on the Night shift, 12 hours shifts and every third weekend.This position is eligible for a sign on bonus up to $9,000 based on experience.**Responsibilities Job Description** Safely employs (sets-up, utilizes and trouble shoots) the following monitoring devices; Arterial lines Cardiac Monitoring EKGs EtCO2 Doppler Manages complex medication and infusion therapies Care for patient undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit. Demonstrates ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment.**Qualifications****Required:** Minimum of 6 months of pediatric float pool experience required BLS for healthcare provider MN RN licensure**Preferred:** One year of Pediatric RN experience BSN or higher degree in nursing strongly preferred PALS/ACLS.
