We at Fairview Health Services are looking for hard working Medical Assistant to join the driven team at Fairview Riverside Women's Health Clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position is approved for 80 hours every two weeks, is benefit eligible, and qualifies for a $4000 sign on bonus! The hours for this role will be an 8.5 hour shift between 745-515. You may also be asked to travel to our Highland Park and New Brighton locations when needed.

The MA in this role will be working with one of the most diverse patient populations in our M Health Fairview system. The providers with OB-GYN Riverside have an outstanding relationship with all staff, and we are passionate about education and supporting the team as a whole. As a member of the patients care team, a Medical Assistant supports quality patient- and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/families. The Medical Assistant will collect information and detail the patient's visit. The MA adheres to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines, promoting communication with all members of the team, maintaining complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.

• Delivers care as delegated by the authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient.
• Prioritizes work based on patient acuity, available resources, patient/family preferences, provider schedule, in collaboration with other care team members.
• Efficiently communicates compliance and concerns to delegating physician/authorized practitioner/RN.
• Engage in change to improve the work environment and patient experience

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN
• Basic Life Support Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Ambulatory Care Experience
• AAMA Certification
