Job Title: QA Tech
Schedule/Shift: 6 PM to 2:30 AM - M-F
Location: San Antonio, TX
Type: Contract to hire
Overview:
Established and growing food manufacturing company, seeking to add a motivated individual to their Quality Team. Motivated individuals who would like to be part of establishing and contributing to ground-breaking work in the manufacturing industry, as part of this dynamic team and recent grads in Food Science should APPLY ASAP.
Responsibilities: Monitor process controls to ensure food safety and quality program adherence.
Perform sample collection as required for microbiological or chemical testing.
Conduct product sampling and analysis to monitor product texture and shelf-life.
Troubleshoot and take appropriate corrective action when deviations occur.
Document, monitor, and analyze data to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all products manufactured by the plant and the raw materials, packaging materials, and operations required in the manufacturing process.
Qualification's: Bachelors/Associates or 1 year of experience in a Quality assurance role in a food manufacturing facility
1 year of GMP experience
Ability to assess risk and make decisions under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to work in an environment with a wide range of temperature.
