Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations in a timely manner. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and team members.
Duties:
- Drive company vehicles, such as vans or delivery trucks, to transport passengers or goods to their designated locations- OPTION NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL AFTER 90 DAYS
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure regular maintenance of assigned vehicle OR personal Vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers or supervisors regarding schedules, route changes, or any other relevant information
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial driving or paratransit capacity
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers and team members
- Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns in the area
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a delivery driver or school bus driver is a plus or working with patients
