• The Warehouse Associate will assist with shipping and receiving by checking in merchandise, matching packing lists to purchase orders, and sales orders and distributing for processing.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code. Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
• Operate Forklift safely.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse including, but not limited to, emptying garbage cans, sweeping, etc. as needed.
• Prepare RMA’s and parcels for mailings via UPS and FedEx, as needed.
• Support factory operations as needed.
• Move materials between HQ and offsite locations via LightRiver fleet vehicles.

Hard Skill Expectations

• Record Keeping: Maintain 100% accurate records and files as LRT process dictates.
• Detail Oriented: Able to perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
• Forklift Experience: Moving materials around warehouses, factories, and other work sites Has or has had a valid hydraulic lift mechanism certification.
• Technical Training: Efficient in MS Office, UPS Worldship, Outlook, and MRP navigation.
• Logical Skills: Verifying counts, recognizing alphanumeric codes, and updating LRT inventory system. This aspect of the job requires strong math and analytical skills.
• Dependability: Can always be trusted to be on time and has reliable transportation. Also has a valid California driver license.

• Education and Experience
• Warehouse experience of at least 2 years working in a shipping and receiving environment.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
• Valid California Driver’s License with an excellent driving record
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
