Must be able to work in EST time zone Summary of the position : The Senior SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Analyst ("Sr Analyst") will assist in the preparation of all financial statements and related disclosures for SEC filings under US GAAP. The Sr Analyst will communicate with accounting, finance, and other departments in order obtain necessary documentation to prepare the financial statements and related disclosures. The SEC reporting group also completes financial statements and reporting requirements for statutory audit procedures required for various locations and other compliance reporting. The Sr Analyst will participate in researching and detailing technical accounting analyses of transactions, accounting policies and implementing new accounting standards. The Sr Analyst may also be involved in other corporate accounting projects as needed. Additional Responsibilities include :
Prepare the consolidated documents and notes for quarterly and annual SEC filings, ensuring compliance with all reporting and disclosure requirements under US GAAP and the SEC guidelines
Preparation of earnings release, documents to support the earnings call and additional needs of the Investor Relations team
Prepares recurring compliance and other statutory requirement subsidiary financial documents for various reporting obligations in accordance with local accounting standards
Update and maintain accounting internal control policies and procedures and provides supporting documentation to internal audit regarding completion of control procedures
Researches the accounting and disclosure requirements of new accounting standards and transactions, impacting the company
Communicate effectively with different teams across organization to obtain support documents and schedules for external financial reporting
Coordinates with external auditors and service providers to provide requested documentation regarding financial documents and accounting treatment for specific transactions
Perform special projects as needed

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
Understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
Ability to communicate clear and concise ideas both verbally and in writing
Attention to detail in preparing SEC filings and other financial statements
Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for the team to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with core strategic goals
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems
Ability to analyze financial data in an accurate and timely manner
Ability to coordinate between various corporate offices and departments
Microsoft office suite knowledge
Preferred, but not required, qualifications: •Big 4/CPA firm experience •CPA license (or in process of licensing)
2 years of related work experience or experience in SEC reporting;
Experience with Workiva (or similar tool)
Accounting systems experience (Oracle, FCCS, and FinRep)
