Be our next Architectural Project Leader for our Bridgewater, NJ Architectural Team.
Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will work with an award-winning international architecture and engineering firm. As a local office employee, you will get to experience a "small office" feel while working with a large network of EXP professionals on a variety of project types and sizes.
What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Lead and prepare the production of project construction documents in coordination with multi-discipline project team of architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Communicate and work in coordination with and in oversight of the Project Architect and/or Senior Project Manager.
• Perform code reviews and meet independently with local code officials to review and determine specific local code requirements and project compliance.
• Perform quality control checks of your team's work before submitting to the Project Manager.
• Meet with product vendors to review specific products to be incorporated into the projects.
• Perform bid phase and construction phase tasks including site visits, review of shop drawings, responding to requests for information, issuing clarifications and maintaining meeting project minutes and files.
• Help in the development of presentation documents and make design presentations to Clients and potential Clients.
• Assist with Business Development in coordination with senior office personnel.

The Skills, Knowledge and Abilities We Seek

• NAAB Accredited Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture required.
• Minimum 8 years' experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Job Captain/Project Leader.
• Detailed knowledge of architectural practice with emphasis client interaction, design development, and preparation of construction documents,
• Working knowledge of specification preparation, building materials, coordination with construction costs, and building codes.
• Experience with construction administration.
• Ability to successfully balance client and PM expectations while meeting project deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team & lead a team of designers across multiple disciplines.
• Licensed Architect or working toward licensure through NCARB's AXP program.
• Must be proficient with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit preferred with a working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketchup
• LEED AP a plus
