Job Description
ABOUT THIS POSITION
- The Field Service Technician is responsible for managing project installations and service for all technologies we support.
- Installation and service of Category 6 structured cabling systems.
- Installation and service of indoor and outdoor fiber optic systems.
- Installation and service of IP camera systems.
- Installation and service of voice systems.
- Installation and service of overhead paging systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills: enjoy communicating with staff & clients
- Committed professionalism: showing up on time and working hard
- Enjoy working as a team towards a common goal

- Ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent technical aptitude, with an ability to learn quickly
- Good sound judgement and technical common sense
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Ability to assist with design, material, and labor needs for projects
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to communicate project status with clients
- Previous work experience with low voltage and fiber optic cabling
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 100 lbs)
- Ability to work in cramped spaces
- Ability to work at heights
- Valid drivers license
- High school diploma or GED
