EviDent Alliance is a doctor-owned, doctor-led multi-disciplinary dental group based in the Puget Sound region. Our goal is to allow dentists to be great dentists by efficiently managing the daily business activities of each practice and allowing the dentists to concentrate on patient care. Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller serves in various capacities and supervises a team of two staff people. The Controller and associated team records financial transactions based on source documentation such as vendor invoices, Practice Management System reports, etc. and generates reports from that information. This function is responsible for timely financial close on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The Controller also reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Essential Functions:

• Manage all accounting operations including General Accounting and Accounts Payable.
• Prepare or review reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts monthly and/or quarterly.
• Prepare or review reconciliation of all bank accounts monthly to ensure accuracy of cash posting by Revenue Cycle Team. Ensure proper balancing between bank deposits and payment per Practice Management System.
• Assist in corporate budgeting and forecasting efforts on a monthly and yearly basis.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end close of financial reporting, ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Maintaining a documented system of accounting procedures.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Other duties assigned as necessary.

Qualifications/Skills:

• BA Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting. CPA or advanced degree preferred, but not required.
• 8 years of progressive experience in finance or Senior accounting leadership role(s).
• Experience in the healthcare sector is required.
• Experience providing business decision support for senior management.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 – $120,000 annually. Final salary will be determined based on several factors including maintaining the integrity and equity of our current internal wage scales as well as qualifying attributes of the applicant.
