Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks
- Utilize computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory
- Fabricate parts or components as needed
- Supervise contractors or vendors when necessary
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise others
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and tracking
- Knowledge of logic controllers and their operation
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with internal staff and external vendors
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical approach
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Ability to maintain and repair mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques for creating parts or components
