Statewide Construction Services is Hiring a Painter Near Stamford, CT
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and be able to work on a variety of projects.
Duties:
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting
- Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Mix and match colors for touch-ups and complete projects
- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection
- Remove old paint to prepare surfaces for new paint
- Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers
- Clean up work areas and remove hazardous material
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter in construction or renovation projects
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials
- Familiarity with maintaining tools and equipment
- Experience in trim carpentry, masonry, or carpentry is a plus
- MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE TO GET TO AND FROM JOBSITES!
