About etrailer.com

etrailer.com is the US's leading online retailer of trailer, towing, and RV accessories. At etrailer.com, you will find an entire company dedicated to helping people on their journey - whether that journey is RVing, camping, DIYing, or getting a job done.

Our roots are in providing personalized service at the counter of a small neighborhood shop. We're continuing on our journey to help our customers, whom we call our neighbors, by providing that same dedicated and personalized service whether in person, over the phone, or on the web.

About Product Management

At etrailer, the Product Management group and product teams are responsible for innovating and supporting the technology and systems used by the core business groups while exploring new ways to delight our neighbors across the entire etrailer.com experience, from searching on the website to receiving our package on their doorstep!

We strive to work collaboratively, focused on our neighbors, and aligned by common goals and shared values. That means we intend to work openly, communicate often, and operate with just enough process and structure to make things work.

What you'll do

You will join etrailer's Product Management group and support a cross-functional product team as an individual contributor, cooperating closely with engineering, design, business intelligence, marketing, and other internal groups. In this role, you will further our mission by collaboratively discovering the most impactful opportunities to improve and personalize our neighbor's experiences using etrailer.com.

Responsibilities

  • You will get to know our neighbors and products inside and out and inspire others to a similar depth of knowledge.
  • You will think holistically across the end-to-end journey of our neighbors, using data and customer/product insights to guide product decisions, define team objectives (OKRs), and establish a product road map aligned with our values and desired outcomes.
  • You will be responsible for empowering and supporting a product team through iterative discovery and delivery phases, focused on outcomes over output.
  • You will seek input and buy-in from teammates across the company on product direction, research findings, and prototypes, being quick to listen and empathize, as good ideas come from many directions.
  • Actively engage and encourage collaborative discussions and decisions around business outcomes and ways of working that help the whole team deliver the best possible product for our neighbors.

Who you are

Required experience

  • 2 years helping deliver technology-powered products

  • Experience working with a broad set of stakeholders and driving alignment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially between engineering and stakeholders
  • Takes an ownership mindset to solve problems and delight our neighbors
  • Able to push through ambiguity to make decisions and produce strategic insights and opportunities
  • Have curiosity and an interest in how the business works from end to end

Bonus!

  • Familiarity and interest in our products and the outdoor lifestyle
  • Experience working with Agile development practices
  • Experience working with customer support/customer success organizations
  • Experience working on products that require inventory management
  • Willing to go camping with the team

We value our teammates and are pleased to offer:

  • Learning and Personal Development Opportunities. Continuous hands-on training and collaboration. We are lifelong learners! Teammate collaboration to guide your journey and access to Pluralsight learning.
  • Convenient Location. Located in Wentzville, MO near Highway 40, 61, 64, and Highway 70.
