Job Responsibilities:This is a daily in- hospital position managing and working alongside a team of technicians.
Staff mentorshipWork alongside technicians and assisting with procedures, appointments, and work- upsPersonnel scheduling, interviewing, hiring and trainingDeveloping training schedules, planning and leading staff meetingsComplete incident reports and workers compensation claimsConflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance reviewsOversight of controlled substance inventory and loggingInventory and equipment managementOn the floor leadership to assist with daily practice flowFacilitates positive interactions and communications between our AVIM&O SpecialistsAttend CE to expand knowledge and service as a liaison for the AVIM&O team with referring veterinarians both in the hospital and from GP communityRegularly attend leadership meetings on behalf of staff, clients, and patientsAbout You:

Education & Experience
High school or equivalent (required)Veterinary Experience - 3 yearsSupervisory Experience – 3 yearsVeterinary Technician Credentials preferred
