Unit/Dept:  Urgent Care
Unit Details:  Outpatient | Higher Acuity UC, ER like setting | No Call |
Daily Volume: Patients scheduled every 20 minutes
Additional Providers/Support Staff:  Physicians, other APPs, and MA’s/RN’s/LVN’s for Support
EMR System(s): EPIC (Health Connect – Kaiser Permanente’s version of EPIC) - Highly prefer EPIC experience due to ramp up on Health Connect needing to be quick
Lic/Certs: Active CA Lic | BLS 
BC/BE:  Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
 
Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 90 Days
Start Date: ASAP
Duration:  5 Months with option to extend, as needed
Shift:  2 Positions - 3x12 Hours per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Monday, Thursday, Friday). Flexibility on this schedule is very helpful and preferred if changes are needed.
 
Housing/Travel:  All inclusive
Pay Structure:  Bid
Notes:  Covid plus Booster required
Required exp:  Higher Acuity UC, ER like setting | Flu | Sickness | I&D | Lacerations | Suturing | Toe Nails | Fractures | X-Ray Reading Capabilities Required | Must be comfortable with work ups and higher acuity patients, as needed. ER Experience highly preferred.
