About this opportunity:
Are you ready to drive innovation in the world of telecommunications? Join us in shaping the future of AI/ML in Radio Access Network across North America!
You will play a crucial role in advancing AI/ML technology in RAN. You'll collaborate with our Customer and Business Unit teams to understand their requirements, ensuring alignment with Ericsson's roadmap. Engage in trials and early-proofs of concepts to gain valuable insights into the potential of AI/ML in RAN.
What you will do:

• Conducting detailed research and analysis of 5G network performance
• Identifying opportunities for AI/ML use cases to enhance efficiency.
• Working closely with the customer units to develop solutions for performance enhancement and energy efficiency, contributing to sustainability goals.
• Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives, educating colleagues on AI/ML in RAN, and producing compelling whitepapers driving thought leadership internally and across the industry.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, showcasing Ericsson's performance superiority and roadmap capabilities in customer meetings.

The skills you bring:

• A t least 5 years of demonstrated expertise in the telecommunications infrastructure industry, with a strong understanding of Radio Access Network architecture, particularly in the context of AI/ML applications.
• Technical expertise in 3GPP LTE and 5G technology
• Working knowledge Open RAN and Cloud RAN
• Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed research and analysis, coupled with strategic problem-solving skills, enabling effective engagement with key stakeholders to drive informed decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to strong interpersonal skills, which will drive the ability to engage with stakeholders and present complex concepts clearly.
• Education: University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, master's degree a plus.
