Prevailing Wage pay plus all Union Benefits!
$24.08 PER HOUR for the first 40hrs per week
Any OT is paid out at 1.5 times the prevailing wage (16.70hr)
Position Summary:
The Security Guard is responsible for performing licensed security guarding duties with professionalism and tact to ensure the safety and security of assigned client location, its guests, visitors and their property. The Security Guard is perceptive at identifying potential threats within assigned areas and prompt in communicating events to Site Supervisor/ Manager on duty. Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Provides onsite watch/protection of assigned post and designated perimeter
• Observes, reports and supports client expectations
• Reports all breaches per applicable methods
• Utilizes company scheduling platform for clock-ins/clock-outs of scheduled shift
• Evaluates and responds to alerts in surrounding area with professionalism and according to company protocol
• Alerts Supervisor on Duty when situation requires escalation per company protocol
• Assists fellow security guards with de-escalation when applicable per company protocol
• Follows procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and incident reporting
• Works with diligence and respect to ensure the safety and security of assigned client, visitors and property
• Adheres to all Company service and operating standards
• Additional tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Current F03 /F04 Certification (Certificate of Fitness for Fire Guard)
• Completion of 16 HR OJT Class required by NYS Licensing Division
• Minimum 6 months of security guard experience
• Valid CPR-AED certification is a plus
• HS Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Exceptional work ethic
• Proficiency or fluency in the following languages is a plus:
  • Spanish, Arabic, French, English, Russian, Wolof, Turkish, Fulani, Chinese (Mandarin), Georgian
