Personal Trainers with a Specialty in Women's Health and Fitness: Revolutionize In-Home Training in Washington, D.C. Proper
At Focus, we’re redefining fitness in Washington, D.C. Proper by bringing personalized, innovative, and inclusive workouts directly into the homes of our community. Without the constraints of a traditional gym environment, we’re able to offer unique, tailored fitness experiences that meet our clients right where they are. We are dedicated to supporting every client on their wellness journey and are seeking specialized trainers to join us in this mission.

We’re Especially Interested in Trainers With Specializations in:

  • Pre/Postnatal Fitness: Empower mothers in the comfort of their own homes, booking gym or private facility, guiding them through pregnancy and postpartum recovery with specialized workouts.
  • Women's Fitness Specialization: Address the unique fitness needs of women across different life stages with personalized in-home training programs.
  • Experience Training Female Clients: Utilize your experience to craft custom workouts that meet the diverse health and fitness goals of women.
  • Osteopenia and Osteoporosis Management: Provide safe, effective in-home exercise regimens for clients dealing with bone health concerns.
  • Pilates Mat: Lead Pilates mat sessions that enhance core strength and flexibility, all from the comfort of the client’s home.
  • Women's Nutrition: Support fitness goals with nutritional advice tailored to the specific needs of women, enhancing the impact of your training programs.

Technical Requirements:

  • You have a college degree in an exercise-related field or a certificate from a licensed vocational program specializing in personal training.
    If you're certified, it's with a top-tier, nationally accredited certification. You also have serious practical experience and can demonstrate to us that you are committed to professional growth and continued education.
  • You are able to safely facilitate in-person exercise sessions and provide exercise technique demonstrations, safely spot all exercises, and ensure overall scene safety during client sessions.
  • You can efficiently utilize public and/or private transportation as well as public or private ingress/egress to meet clients at their homes, residential building gyms, outdoor city parks, or independently owned fitness studios. 
  • Have availability to complete a minimum of 16 sessions per week for full-time or 6 sessions per week, part-time, including the hours of 6am-10am and/or 5pm-8pm Monday through Friday
  • Lifting requirements: be able to safely hand a client a 50 lbs free weight, or take it from them.

  • Tough. That 6 am wake-up call? Traveling to clients' homes throughout the city? Little fazes you.
  • Friendly. Enough said!

Compensation: Competitive pay and benefits starting at $45-$67 per hour. No selling or floor shifts. The position is flexible and we are looking for immediate hires
