About Our ClientMy client is a Class III Medical Device Manufacturing company with several products that are at the forefront of the organ transplant industry. My client has been steadily expanding as their products continue to gain popularity and they are looking to add a senior manufacturing engineer to their team of four. Job DescriptionIn this role you will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
Collaborating with production staff to develop and refine manufacturing processes, providing technical expertise and hands-on support to enhance efficiency and maintain quality.
Participating in validation activities and analyzing production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing product quality and reducing costs.
Mentoring junior engineers and interns, offering guidance and training to support their professional development.
Creating comprehensive documentation including manufacturing instructions, inspection procedures, test protocols, and assembly drawings.
Leading cross-functional efforts with Engineering and Operations teams to streamline production through process improvements and product design changes.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical and quality issues, participating in activities such as MRB, customer complaint investigations, CAPA, and regulatory submissions, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and actively supporting colleagues and supervisors.

Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
8 years of full product lifecycle experience in a manufacturing environment
Process development and validation experience
Ability to implement process changes and direct a team
SolidWorks, Minitab, Lean Six Sigma knowledge
Medical device preferred but not required
Very hands on mindset
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
