Position Overview for the Sr. Java Developer: This person will join a Team of 13 developers supporting 50 microservices. They will be working with critical cloud applications with a high-level of accountability. Very collaborative work environment. Will need to be a senior level resource with minimal to no training. Day to day they will need experience with Java, Spring boot for microservices, Kubernetes, and strong cloud experience for hands on deployments.
Required Skills for the Sr. Java Developer:
- 8 years' experience in Java Development
- 5 years of experience using AWS/Azure for hands-on cloud application deployments
- 5 years of experience using Spring, Spring Boot for Microservices
- Proficient experience working in Kubernetes
- Experience with Devops Build/Deploy tools: (Maven, Git, Nexus, Jenkins)
- Professional experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ (Huge Plus)
