CAD, Aneurysm, Tamponade, Aortic Stenosis, Mitral Regurgitation, Heart Failure, LVAD, ECMO, CABG, Aorta/Mitral/Tricuspid replacement/repair, TAVR, TEVAR, Aneurysm
special procedures:
Chest Tube Set-up/Care
RSI - Rapid Sequence Intubation Drugs
Blood/Blood Products Administration
Cardioversion / Defibrillation
Cooling / Warming Blanket
ECMO, LVAD/Impella, Sheath Removal
Drains, Wound Vac
REQUIRED: Cardiovascular, Circulate, ENT, Thoracic, Vascular
SCRUB experience PREFERRED.
call required: ON CALL - 5 weekdays a month plus 1 /48-hr weekend a month
float: yes, within surgical services and within scope
certs: BCLS required

All units that have on- call requirements require a 30-minute response time. It is outlined as a standard requirement in the unit description.
All Swedish facilities with units that necessitate on-call coverage have a response time of 30 min from when the traveler is called in.
#Tier3 Travel Compliance
All candidates who were a previous perm employee of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. No exceptions.
Floating: All travelers are expected to float to another unit within their scop of practice if needed. The facility has a designated float team that floats first however, in the event there is a need at another campus travelers will float first before perm staff. All facilities are within a 40-mile radius or less. In the event that the traveler needs to float, it their responsibility to find transportation to the facility they’re floated to. Traveler’s refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
