Speech-Language Pathologist: Part-Time FMLA

AnthroMed Education is an organization exclusively dedicated to supporting pre-K-12th grade schools with their Related Service and Special Education needs in Illinois. We are immediately hiring a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist at one of our school partners in Glen Ellyn to support an FMLA Leave. The SLP joining will be excited to provide therapy to a wide range of students ages 3-22 and will have experience working with low-incidence populations, multiple disabilities, and AAC devices. This position will begin in the middle of September with an expected end date in February (subject to change).

SLP Responsibilities:

• Work 2 days a week.
• Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to a wide population of ages ranging from 3-22.
• Manage a small number of students on the caseload.
• Collaborate and work alongside other OTs, PTs, BCBAs, and Vision Itinerants.
• Share an office space with other staff.
• Complete the required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with parents, staff, and students on progress.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records.
• Other duties are to follow.

SLP Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
• Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
