THIS POSITION

Seeking a Detail-Oriented Team Player for our Front office Patient Coordinator – Medical Receptionist position. Envizion Medical is a wellness and weight loss clinic in Lutz/Land O Lakes. Our practitioners specialize in anti-aging medicine including hormone replacement therapy, weight loss, nutrition, and thyroid-specific medicine.

We are looking for a new dedicated staff member who is customer service oriented, friendly, and able to multi-task. Medical field experience is a plus, but not required. The most important traits for someone in this position would be compassionate, friendly, detail oriented, and computer literate.

This position will work as part of a team to schedule appointments, intake patients, recommend products and services, perform various follow-up and reminder tasks, dispense medication, create and review patient charts, and adhere to all applicable Florida statutes regarding purchase and dispensing controlled and non-controlled medication. Non-urgent tasks may include scanning charts or files into our EMR system and/or assisting Medical Assistants.

During the first month of training, this staff member will be trained with the knowledge of our practices, products, and procedures in order to coordinate with our practitioners, communicate with our pharmacies of choice, collaborate with the other staff and also, most importantly, to interact with patients.

Responsibilities:

* Answer in-bound calls and emails to assist patients, providers and internal patient support services with inquiries

* Scheduling, Checking in, and checking out Patients

* Work closely with pharmacies to order medication, track it, and make sure it gets in each patient’s hands

* Communicating individually and as a liaison with both patients and medical practitioners

* Collecting deposits and payments for services and products

* Customer service when problems arise

* Chart Auditing

* Greeting patients and taking their vitals

* Adhering to all Florida medical laws and statutes to the letter
