Our company is growing rapidly and is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Shipping & Receiving Clerk. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.

Please note this position will require working Saturdays. Weekday Hours are 11:00AM - 8:00PM Monday - Friday (add'l day off midweek) and 9:00AM - 5:00PM Saturday

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Receive, inspect and process shipments, including checking quantity and quality of shipments, logging receipt of items in system and documenting any discrepancies or damages
• Verify shipping information, prepare documents, process freight bills, packing sheets, and other necessary paperwork
• Communicate with carriers to establish efficiency with shipping and delivery of product
• Sign drivers in and out
• Assign carriers dock doors upon arrival and update in system to ensure accuracy upon unloading/loading of goods and materials
• Organize and prioritize workload, working with tight deadlines
• Assist with coordinating the activities of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Document any damage caused by vehicles or vendors using the Dock area
• May operate equipment (forklift, pallet jack or hand truck) to move and store product
• Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications: 

• Must be 18 years or older
• Shipping and Receiving experience required
• Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good attendance record and good work ethic

• Comfortable working in colder temperatures while wearing personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 40 lbs. (18kgs) 
• Reading, writing and comprehension of both English and Spanish is highly preferred
• Ability to prioritize needs and reassess with business demands
• Solid computer skills, including MS Excel, Outlook and Word
