The Galley
Job Summary

The General Manager leads and supervises the overall operations of the dining facility through employee-related tasks to include maintaining employee information on attendance and performance, training and development, and procedures and methods to improve the quality of work performance.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise other professional employees through tracking attendance and performance, training and development, and other procedures and methods to improve the quality of work performance
  • Ensure financial responsibility and efficiency of dining unit working with the Executive Chef and/or Assistant Director of Culinary Operations in overseeing food and food production
  • Promote sale of dining plans through excellent service and acceptance of feedback from customers
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of facility and equipment is conducted on a consistent basis
Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in hospitality or food and beverage management
Proposed Salary

$44,400 - $56,600
This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
