Company: A leading Oil and Gas supplier specializing in downhole composites, currently diversifying into the aerospace sector.

Responsibilities:

• products from concept to completion, catering to customer needs and industry requirements.
• closely with customers and sales teams to gather project requirements and specifications.
• requirements and determine suitable composite materials for the design.
• SolidWorks and other engineering tools to perform design work and calculations.
• the design process, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• prototyping and product development phases, managing scrap deposition and ensuring high-quality output.
• reverse engineering projects as necessary, translating customer concepts into viable products.
• clear communication channels with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• years of experience in design engineering, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry.
• in SolidWorks and other relevant engineering software.
• understanding of composite materials and their applications.
• communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
• track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
• and willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• working with composites in an industrial setting.
• with aerospace industry standards and practices.
