Stewart Law Group is seeking an associate attorney with 3 years of experience in civil litigation to join our firm. This role will handle cases in commercial litigation, including insurance defense and employment defense. You will work on cases through the entire life of the case, including preparing pleadings and other legal documents, taking and defending depositions, and attending hearings and mediation. Additionally, you will have opportunities to handle confidential ethics, Title IX and employment investigations. You will be exposed to exciting work that will challenge you and remind you why you suffered through law school.

You need to be a self-starter, exceptional time management and interpersonal skills, highly organized with the ability to handle multiple files, and again have a positive attitude . You will work directly with court personnel, opposing counsel, adjusters, and coworkers, so you must be able to work collaboratively and independently.

Qualifications:

· JD from an accredited law school.

· Admitted to practice in Texas.

· Experience in Labor/Employment and/or Insurance Defense.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Superior analytical, writing, and research skills.

· Ability to work in a team environment.
