The Director, IT Operations Applications Support for Hotel Applications. Hotel Application Support team is responsible for the functional and technical support of systems related to and in support of the hotel center of excellence for MGMRI. The Director coordinates efforts to ensure the availability of applications in accordance with agreed upon SLAs from the business partners. The Director makes decisions on priorities and staff allocations and participates actively with the business community and other groups in IT.

• Ensure the continued availability and efficient operation of all MGM Hotel applications.
• Works closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Application Development, Infrastructure and Engineering teams on relevant projects.
• Works closely with the Hotel Center of Excellence to ensure efficient business operations.
• Oversees the staff that troubleshoots application production problems. Monitors results and solicits feedback to ensure effective resolution.
• Routinely performs "application health checks" to assess the performance and continued functional fit and technical viability of all applications.
• Implements continual improvements in quality and alignment of applications with the overall IT strategy.
• Directs application maintenance activities such as patches and upgrades.
• Ensuring that standard processes are followed for all major functions related to hotel and interconnected systems.
• Manages applications and team in accordance with SOX/PII/ and PCI requirements.
• Supervises day to day activities of direct reports and contractors including task assignment, prioritization and completion.
• Effectively communicates relevant information or issues to executives, managers, staff, and customers.
• Collaborates with the management of other IT teams to ensure service delivery meets organizational and customer service expectations.
• Developmental planning for all staff members to support career growth and company initiatives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 4 Years of Prior Relevant Experience

PREFERRED:

• At least five (5) years leading a team.
• Strong hotel background in multiple property management systems and their supporting components.
• Previous experience with facilitation and enforcement of procedures and processes across diverse geographic locations.
• Previous experience managing remote resources.
• Previous experience negotiating effectively and tactfully.
• Previous experience in the hospitality and/or gaming industry.
