Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pediatric therapy, with a strong background in evaluating and treating children with a wide range of developmental delays, disabilities, and disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate each child's motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each child and their family.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care abilities, and overall functional independence.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  • Provide education and support to families regarding therapeutic strategies, home exercises, and adaptive equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Strong clinical skills in evaluating and treating children with various diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, and developmental delays.
  • Proficiency in administering standardized assessments and outcome measures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Dedication to providing family-centered care and advocating for the needs of children and their families.
  • Drive to grow, learn, and lead as a mentor and possible Lead Therapist.
