Pay: If you are a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), $19/hourly.

Pay: If you are a Pharmacy Technician (not certified), $18/hourly.

Position: Pharmacy Technician Part Time in the Unit Dose Department.

Shift Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 1pm to 7pm.

Location: 416 Mary Lindsay Polk Drive, Franklin, TN 37067

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer Certified Pharmacy Technician, CPhT.
• Pharmacy Technician license in Tennessee.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• 1 years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening process.

Duties include:

• Fill unit-dose prescription medications.
• Review all unit-dose packaging for accuracy and errors.
• Ensure quality standards are met for all fulfillment tasks.
• Keep the workstation area organized and ensure the area is free from any safety hazards.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Unit Dose Manager.

Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

• Able to reach, carry, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, stir, walk, and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• The employee is required to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift/move objects.
