The Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) is responsible for providing preventive dental care and oral health education to the community with a focus on underserved populations. The ideal dental hygienist will have a strong commitment to public health and a passion for improving the oral health of the community.

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Responsibilities:

• Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Screen patients for oral health problems and refer them to dentists for further treatment
• Develop and implement oral health education programs for the community
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve the oral health of the community
• Participate in research and evaluation activities to assess the effectiveness of oral health programs

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Requirements:

• COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Valid State driver's license
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle report (clean driving record required)
• Ability to treat medically compromised patients

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Job-Type & Schedule:

• Part-Time (2-3 days per week)
• Monday-Friday work days

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
• State Registered Dental Hygienist/Dental Hygiene license
• Strong commitment to public health
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Compensation:

• $55.00-$70.00/hr
