Junior Business Analyst
Location: Greenwood Village, CO 80111 (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Contract: Long term contract
Pay: $30/hr
Overview:
As a Junior Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of our business operations team, collaborating closely with the Software & Data Platforms (SDP) Business Planning team to facilitate budget discussions and future planning efforts. Your responsibilities will include tracking fixed fee/SOW work elements, participating in monthly budget reviews with VPs, and providing insights into staffing percentages, opex/capex, and rolling forecasts. Additionally, you will support the Senior Director with ad hoc requests related to Business Planning efforts. Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to develop executive-level presentations are essential for success in this role.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Creating slide decks for presentations to C-suite and VP-level stakeholders
- Conducting financial data modeling using Excel
- Performing data comparison and ensuring data governance practices are followed
Skillset Requirements:
- Education background in business operations, finance, economics, or statistics
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial data modeling
- Ability to create executive-level presentation decks
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
