Position Title: Senior Strategic Planning Analyst

General SummaryAs a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company's financial trajectory and supporting its growth initiatives. Working closely with the CFO, Executive Team, and operational units, you'll provide comprehensive financial analysis, aiding in budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of forecasts, annual budgets, and capital plans, collaborating with business units as needed.
- Conduct detailed analyses of budget-versus-actual variances, business drivers, and key metrics, offering actionable recommendations.
- Develop long-term financial forecasts and perform scenario modeling using strategic tools.
- Serve as the administrator for our accounting, financial reporting, and planning tools.
- Collaborate with Executive and Senior Management to fulfill various analytic needs.
- Act as a planning Subject Matter Expert for business units, offering guidance and support.
- Enhance planning, forecasting, and business intelligence tools' model structures and components.
- Mentor junior team members and provide analytical support for M&A activities.
- Represent Finance in company-wide initiatives and projects.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and maintain a corporate library of relevant market data.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Minimum five years of operational, financial, or planning experience.
- Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with GAAP and STAT accounting principles.
- Experience in the P&C Insurance industry, particularly workers' compensation.
- Familiarity with Amazon QuickSight, Hyperion, Workday, Anaplan, or similar software.
Work EnvironmentThis role is remote, available to candidates located in the United States without sponsorship. A suitable, private workspace is required.
Expected Work HoursSchedules are flexible to accommodate position requirements and organizational needs.
TravelOccasional travel to off-site meetings may be required.
