Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Batavia, IL
Must be available to train on 1st shift for first 30 days, then move permanently to 2nd shift.
1st shift hours: 5:30am to 2:00pm (training schedule)
2nd shift hours: 2:00pm- 10:30pm (permanent schedule)
$26-$28.50/hr. based on previous (electrical / mechanical ) experience
In this role you will be working in the Batavia, IL facility conducting a routine of maintenance duties around the building while assisting in machine maintenance for the manufacturing floor.
Responsibilities:
- PLC Programming
- Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic troubleshooting.
- Repair equipment and machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and diagrams.
- Use hand tools and precision measuring devices.
- Documentation.
- Adhere to all safety and plant policies.
- Assist with other maintenance duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- Electrical Maintenance knowledge (required)
- Manufacturing / Maintenance background of 1-2 years
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Ability to stand, kneel, and lift for entirety of shift.
