What You'll Do: As an Assembler, you will assemble stainless steel and aluminum components, following specifications, in a timely and efficient way. Your Accountabilities in the Role:
Receives and reviews the job assignment tickets and/or blueprints to understand project and customer specifications.
Assembles products following specifications and manufacturing process to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
Performs quality checks utilizing precision measuring tools and gauges on all finished products to ensure quality expectations are achieved.
Updates, records and reports on various data, including steel scrap reports, QC Sheets, production cards, and annual inventory, ensuring accurate information and product counts.
Maintains a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe work environment.
Operates the forklift and/or overhead crane to safely move materials to and from storage areas.
Supports leaders and other team areas as needed to meet overall team goals.
Position Requirements:
Education: A HS Diploma or GED preferred; will consider an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Experience: 2 years of assembly experience in similar industry preferred. Will train someone with strong attention to detail.
Certifications: Ability to be forklift/crane certified would be a plus.
Functional Skills: Mechanically inclined with good dexterity; high attention to detail with an ability to read, understand, and apply procedures, specifications, blue prints and bill of material; Strong problem-solving skills; Basic math and counting skills are required. Critical thinking to solve issues independently or by getting assistance to ensure accuracy is important.
Technology Skills: Basic computer skills.
Language Skills:Basic reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
Leadership/ Behaviors: Customer oriented with demonstrated high work ethic and value system, focused on quality, safety and accuracy. Safety oriented and able to work amicably with others and take advice/mentoring, and instructions well.

Other Important Information: Pay/Salary : Pay is commensurate with proven expertise. And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows! Reports To: Plant Manager Core Hours: 3: 3 0 pm - 11:30 pm (with a 30-minute break at 7:30 pm) Typical Work Week: M-F; some weekends [& OT] required (when applicable); 40-45 hours a week on average Direct Reports: None Travel: None Work Conditions: Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise level, PPE required.
