Job Summary: 4 on 2 off
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans
- Perform routine procedures such as venipuncture and wound care
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques
- Experience in case management and pediatric care is preferred
- Proficiency in anatomy and physiology
- Ability to perform venipuncture and administer medications safely
- Familiarity with airway management and primary care practices
- Experience in hospital settings with skills in infant care and dermal fillers is a plus
