Position Type: Full-Time

Shifts: 3 shifts per week rotating weekends (Day Shift: 7 am-7pm) OR (Night Shift: 7 pm-7am)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As the most senior position in the facility, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the needs of both staff and residents.

Responsibilities:

As the Nurse Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Leading the clinical team in managing the care of clinically unstable patients, ensuring optimal in-house care and minimizing hospitalizations.

Coordinating the reception and care of all new admissions, ensuring exceptional care and a positive first impression for patients and their families.

Handling and resolving clinical and administrative emergencies that may arise during your shift.

Supporting and guiding staff through education and leadership, holding them accountable when necessary.

Acting as a representative of the leadership team, providing coaching and outstanding customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

Preferred ACLS certification.

Minimum 2-3 years of leadership experience, with 5 years of clinical experience.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop others.

Thrive in challenging situations and enjoy problem-solving.

Willingness to perform various jobs and tasks as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

Graduate from an approved school of nursing.

Active RN license for New York State.

ACLS and BLS certification.

Unexpired verification of US citizenship.

Up-to-date physical examination conducted within the past 12 months.

MMR titers and immunization records.

CPR certification.

Malpractice insurance.

Two professional references.
