We're partnering with a hugely exciting business in the oil and gas industry on a search for a Controller. This firm is projected to double in size over the next few years, as it deploys capital globally, and this is a phenomenal opportunity to get in at ground level.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the process of bringing accounting in-house and standing up a function and team. You'll work with the business to provide insightful reporting, implement and administer the right systems and tools, and drive best practices. It's expected that your role will expand significantly as the business grows.

This position is based in-office in Houston 5 days a week.

About you:

• 10 years' experience
• Extensive oil and gas industry experience (offshore preferred)
• CPA required, MBA preferred
• Big 4 background preferred
• Strong systems experience
• Self starter who can execute on a small team and be proactive about working with various people around the business
