Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services. We are recruiting to fill a position to lead business development activities for a small government contracting firm focused on IT Services and Cyber Security for clients in Civil and DoD markets.

Arcetyp LLC is looking for a Full-Time (W2) FOIA & Privacy Analyst onsite in Washington DC.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Role: FOIA & Privacy Analyst

Location: Hybrid, Washington D.C.

Fulltime, W2

Primary Skills: Experience in providing comprehensive privacy support including the drafting of privacy compliance documentation; such as Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA), Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), and SORNs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of and applying Privacy Act (PA) laws, regulations, and privacy implications.
  • Intake, review, and analyze FOIA and PA requests.
  • Ability to research and interpret applicable agency policies, regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Information Sharing Agreements (ISAs) to ensure the appropriate disclosure of sensitive personal information.
  • Ability to engage relevant agency stakeholders to locate requested records and confirm that the release and disclosure of responsive documents adhere to applicable exemptions and/or exclusions.
  • Must be familiar with System of Records Notices (SORNs) and the interpretation of routine uses for disclosures of information maintained in federal systems.
  • Ability to maintain a complete and accurate administrative record of disclosure requests and provide status reports in support of agency reporting requirements.
  • Ability to prepare PA disclosure correspondence and other communications.
  • Work autonomously and be accustomed to effectively and efficiently working at a high-performance level with minimal input from program leadership.

Experience:

Two (2) years of general work experience and two (2) to three (3) years of experience processing PA disclosure requests; either at the federal service or equivalent public or private sector.

Experience/familiarity with following FOIA and PA tools:

Adobe Pro, FIPS, FIRST, FOIAXpress, FOIAonline, Relativity

Experience using the following Microsoft Office Suite applications:

Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word

Certifications:

Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification a plus.

Education:

High school diploma required, but (4) year college degree preferred.

Clearance:

Must be able to obtain Public Trust - Tier IV High-Risk Background Investigation clearance.
