Ellison Technologies is Hiring a President - Texas Operations Near Houston, TX

Overview:

Reporting to the COO, the President of the Texas operations will have autonomy to lead and manage a Team of Sales, Service, Applications, and Administrative personnel in support of the operations annual business goals.

This will be accomplished by continuing to improve overall business processes, while growing relationships with customers and the builder. More specifically, the person in this role will utilize strong organizational skills to coordinate efforts between all Departments operations and engineering. This will include allocating resources, managing costs, and empowering departmental leaders to develop and execute their plans and lead the members of their teams.

Responsibilities:

Principle Accountabilities:

Ensure complete sales territory coverage, fully documented in Salesforce.

  • Sales team assessment and development and hiring where appropriate.
  • Maintain ongoing assessment of the sales leadership to ensure that each salesperson is operating to their full potential and that all opportunities are maximized.
  • Ensure the CRM System SalesForce is Utilized and Maintained on a Daily Basis.
  • Ensure Salesman are utilizing Sales Process and Strategies developed through Sales Gravy and Karass Negotiating Seminars in their daily activities. These are essential and supported by Ellison Technologies.
  • Monthly Customer Events in Showroom organized, staffed and marketed.

Frictionless Customer Experience

  • Your participation and the company collaboration between sales, administration, accounting, applications, and service are streamlined and as seamless as possible.
  • Weekly operations/BBS meetings requires your full attendance and preparedness with Sales Manager, to cover sales analysis (Bookings, Forecasts, Shipments and Backlog) and assist where appropriate in collections, installations, and customer service issues

Maintain and foster a team culture and close collaboration of all employees.

  • Allow people to play to their Strengths.
  • Right Seats on the Bus Good to Great
  • Clear communication of expectations and accountability by word and personal actions to meet/exceed goals.
  • Maintain a strong presence along with the department managers by being consistently in the office; The expectation is the individual will be in the office unless out on business travel, customer visits or other urgent matters.

Stakeholder Relationships

  • Build and maintain close working relationship with our builders
  • Work with the leadership and peers in other regions to maximize shareholder value through careful management of revenue creation in concert with the companys assets. Focus on costs aligned to revenue. Most of our costs are in headcount focus on productivity of each resource

Qualifications:
  • Seasoned leader with 10 years of experience leading and managing diverse teams that includes sales engineers
  • Outstanding business manager possessing knowledge in financial statement analysis, robust financial acumen, along with a proven track record as a highly effective salesperson.
  • Experience selling machine tools.
  • Experience working with overseas suppliers and exclusive agreements.
  • Excellent track record of developing high performing teams and driving talent development.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience driving and organizing a sales organization.
  • Drive operations to achieve and surpass sales, align cost to business performance, and increase profitability cash flow to achieve budgeted results and other company objectives.
  • Understands best practices for a regionalized, field-based sales team.
  • Experience with digital transformation to increase productivity of the organization and customer interactions.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Comfortable outlining the detailed components of a strategic roadmap and able to measure progress against well-defined goals.
  • Ability to drive long-term goals and communicate them to others.
  • Experience enabling sustainable organic business growth through systems, tools, people, reporting/data analytics, PMO.
  • Experience identifying opportunities to drive P&L efficiencies and improve profitability.
  • Maintaining positive morale, engagement, and direction of all employees to achieve company objectives by providing overall vision to employees and establishing an environment of mutual respect.
  • Ability to roll up sleeves, get into the details of the business, and engage with authenticity at all levels of the organization with clear communication.
  • Team building skills with the ability to attract top talent and lead, motivate, and coach a high performing team across varying disciplines. Incredible team player with a defined leadership style.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • A proven track record of successfully partnering with a Board of Directors and/or key outside stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • A bachelor's degree in business or engineering highly preferred; a masters is a plus
