Ellie Mental Health is looking for a child and adolescent-focused therapist at our new locally owned and operated outpatient clinic in Rochester! Ellie Mental Health is looking for therapists who are passionate about helping children. There are so many obstacles that children are met with like watching their parents go through a divorce, losing a loved one, social media interactions and more. We want therapists that want to help those kids. We know that being a great secret keeper is a tough job. So, we like to sprinkle a little creativity, authenticity, humor, compassion, acceptance, and determination into this serious subject whenever appropriate. If you consider yourself as being a well-grounded professional with good boundaries, are curious, innovative, flexible, are focused on the single goal of helping your patients get better…..than show us you’ve got the right stuff!! Responsibilities include:
Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement, and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentation
Required experience with children and adolescents
Required experience with families
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in your community
Provide services like individual, group, and family therapy
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Provide great customer service by working at least 1 weeknight and/or Saturday
Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
REQUIRED Qualifications and Skills:
Must have a master’s degree in social work from an accredited college or university.
Candidates must be an NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor only, please
Experience with completing evaluations, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
Comfort in working with children of different ages from a variety of backgrounds
General knowledge of community resources and insurance billing
Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
Ability to collaborate on a motivated team, excellent work ethic, and strong clinical skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant)
Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels
Flexible hours (you control your schedule – ya know, the way it should be!) with a requirement of 30-35 hours a week
