Responsibilities:

• Install, test, repair, inspect, and maintain industrial instrumentation, including metering and recording instruments, controlling devices, data logging and display equipment, communications equipment, and telemetry systems.
• Work under the supervision of the Senior Controls Specialist and guidance from the Lead Instrumentation Technician.
• Collaborate with electricians and process control operators to diagnose and assist with various instrumentation and control processes.
• Provide maintenance support for uninterrupted operation of essential instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with PLC, SCADA, OIT, Radio Telemetry Systems, OPC, SQL, and Microsoft Operating Systems.
• Experience in midstream natural gas transmission networks, particularly with pressure regulating and/or compression sites.
• Ability to read P&ID diagrams for various systems and understand the workings of standard process equipment.
• Willingness to work occasional off-hours and in confined or hazardous locations, such as chemical, power, water, and sewer plants.
