Job Purpose:

To conduct monthly fitness assessments and personal training sessions with clients during one-on-one or group appointments along with setting clients up for success with pre-scripted workouts for days not with their trainer.

Duties:

• Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with clients - this includes, but it not necessarily limited to: showing up on time; wearing proper attire; maintaining respect and a good rapport with clients; maintaining professionalism at all times; refraining from inappropriate or unwanted touching, sexual or otherwise; and prompting gym safety.
• Set up personal training sessions with clients, and follow-through.
• Create individual workout plans for clients based on client goals and fitness objectives.
• Help clients meet their individual fitness objectives by coaching and assisting them in personal training sessions.
• Generate client progress report with accurate measurements and fitness testing (every 6 to 8 weeks).
• Demonstrate the proper use of strength training and cardiovascular equipment.
• Serve as a knowledgeable source of fitness and nutrition information for clients.
• Maintain open lines of communication with the client.
• Log all personal training sessions in accordance with Elevate Fitness Coaching policies and procedures.
• Document any equipment problems in the maintenance log.
• Maintain a respectful and professional attitude with all company employees.
• Attend all staff meetings as required.
• Keep up with continuing education requirements for personal training certification.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Education: High school diploma required; college diploma preferred.
