The Project Management Office (PMO) Intern assists Elevate’s PMO which provides support, guidance and training related to implementation of projects within the organization. It is responsible for adherence to policies related to overall project management and follows business and mission focused goals. The PMO Team works with all departments and project teams across the organization and is a great opportunity to learn the many aspects of the work and communities Elevate is involved with.
The PMO intern reports to the Manager, Project Management Office and is based in Chicago, Illinois and is currently hybrid-remote.
ResponsibilitiesInternships at Elevate are paid positions, for current college or graduate students, or recent college graduates. The usual time commitment is for ten weeks, 15 - 25 hours/week but there is some flexibility with this internship. The Intern, Project Management Office is paid $20/hour.
If interns are handling confidential data, they will be asked to comply with security policies, as required. In addition, all policy interns are asked to comply with a confidentiality and nondisclosure agreement.
