Job Description:
Tech Program Manager
Location: Waukesha, WI. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Tech Program Manager will be responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more multi-year programs. Manages Enterprise-wide programs of $7M - $10M size with multiple concurrent sub-projects or equal complexity. Responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems. In addition to all responsibilities of a project manager which include managing all aspects of a project including initiating, planning, executing, closing and controlling.
How you will make an impact:
  • Coaches and mentors project team members; mentors other project managers around budgeting methodologies
  • Leads all budgeting and modeling for Interoperability Team
  • Partners with the business to develop new value models for use cases
  • Creates new budgeting and reporting rhythms to deliver financial pulse to leadership
  • Defines, recommends and secures contractual agreements for technical services and products
  • Reviews new partnership opportunities both internally and externally and helps to develop ROI for Carelon
  • Coordinates and helps develop pricing of products and services with finance and other business units within Elevance Health
  • Helps develop long-term growth plan and path to commercialization for new and emerging digital technologies
  • Creates dashboards in excel and tableau to track financials for leadership
  • Other ad-hoc reporting
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years project management experience in broad-based information systems, full life-cycle application development and/or building enterprise applications and/or data warehouse planning and development with 3 years leading and directing project task(s); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
  • 5-7 years' experience building financial models related to value and interoperability
  • Extensive experience with creating collaborative teams, building relationships, gaining stakeholder buy-in, critical thinking, conflict resolution, managing resources in a matrixed environment, and communicating effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Extensive experience working with project management applications related to time-management, budgeting, reporting, and documentation, strongly preferred
  • Experience working with portfolio management applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Tableau
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a heavily matrixed organization
