Key Business Systems Management Responsibilities:
  • Manage AHDC business and laboratory systems, website content, and work flow applications to evaluate business problems and ensure stability, integrity, and efficiency of daily operations. Identify potential enhancements.
  • Analyze existing applications and systems to determine needed functional modifications and/or enhancements using knowledge of AHDC business systems
  • Create and maintain user accounts and permissions for assigned systems and serve as point of contact resolving access and navigation issues
  • Provide client service and functional advice to end-users within areas of expertise; diagnose, resolve, and review functional and process issues.
  • Liaise between vendors, VMIT, and AHDC units; learn and translate business requirements into functional requirements, recommend system enhancements, and develop or modify procedures to support workflow, interfacing, and reporting.
* This position is 40 hours per week. While normal business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, specific schedules may change to meet the needs of the business, requiring employees to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, University holidays and scheduled breaks.
* This is a three-year term position; reappointment will be contingent upon funding and performance.
