RVO Health is Hiring a Senior Vice President, Digital Product Near Minneapolis, MN

RVO Health is a new joint venture formed via a partnership between Red Ventures, one of the world's premier digital and consumer analytics companies, and Optum, one of the largest healthcare providers in the world.
As the Senior Vice President of Digital Product , you will be responsible for advancing RVOH's consumer-first digital health platform, Optum Now. You will play the role of Product Evangelist externally and will be the internal face of the portfolio. We are looking for a leader who will develop a deep understanding of the business strategy and translate market trends and customer needs into a Product Strategy that ensures business growth and revenue goals are achieved.
Where You'll Be
To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on a hybrid in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our Minneapolis office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You'll Do
  • Create a strategy . The SVP of Digital Product will be accountable for developing a product strategy and roadmap that achieve the strategic business objectives of RVOH and meaningfully advance the consumer experience on Optum Now.
  • Lead a team . The SVP of Digital Product will lead a team of product managers- each responsible for certain product verticals within Optum Now. They will also oversee the Technical Product, Design, UX and UI teams.
  • Develop . This role will be accountable for rapid development and iteration of the Optum Now experience including cross-functional collaboration and prioritization across other RVOH products and departments.
  • Inspire marketing plans . Though the product vision also serves as a guide for the marketing team, the SVP of Product will partner with Marketing to strengthen the consumer and marketing channel value propositions. They will collaborate to identify new hero features that directly support audience acquisition goals.
  • Build bridges . Our SVP of Digital Product should inspire the best in others by connecting teams, strategies, and stakeholders. The right candidate will be able to seamlessly form relationships with all stakeholders to deliver the best results possible.
  • Build a product-oriented culture. We expect this person to raise the talent bar within the product discipline by nurturing and growing product talent. This includes introducing learning opportunities, improved processes for collaboration and iteration, as well as enhanced career trajectories for the Optum Now product team.
What We're Looking For
  • At least 10 years of experience managing a diverse product portfolio
  • At least 10 years of successful D2C or consumer health tech product management experience with significant experience in organizational leadership and management roles
  • Visionary product builder with a deep understanding of consumer needs, behaviors, and preferences in the digital health space.
  • At least 7 years of experience in an eCommerce / consumer marketplace style model
  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape - competitor strategies, positioning, strengths, and weaknesses
  • Knowledge of software development process, experience with requirements management, and complex projects and activities.
  • A true growth-stage leader - one who loves that every day is different where no task is too small; an entrepreneurial spirit that is flexible, experimental, and resourceful
  • Ability to narrate a story for what problem you're solving for and the vision you're going after, combined with the capacity to dive into minute details
  • Ability to win followership and be an active and collaborative thought partner
  • Willingness to collaborate with business leadership to challenge and align on business and financial objectives and KPIs that then fuel the product strategy
  • An appreciation for design and an ability to translate customer needs into compelling experiences and products
  • Health industry experience (preferred)
*Up to 50% of this role will require travel to our additional people centers (ex. Charlotte, NC HQ)
