Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our restaurant. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the establishment, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and financial performance
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation, delivery and food waste.
- Manage catering orders, including menu planning, pricing, and execution
- Train and mentor staff on customer service, product knowledge, and company policies
- Conduct interviews, hire, and onboard new team members
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to create employee schedules and manage labor costs
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Proficient in food safety practices and regulations
- Experience in food preparation techniques and menu planning
- Excellent understanding of catering operations and event management
- Proven track record in hospitality management within the food industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with customers, employees, and vendors
