The ideal candidate will deliver personalized investment solutions to help clients work toward their long-term financial goals. They should be be comfortable creating financial plans and cross checking work to ensure complete accuracy of information.

Pay is $50,000-75,000 DOE.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the accounting systems of small business clients.
• Support investment professionals to cultivate client relationships
• Prepare financial statements, analyze performance, and make recommendations for business issues requiring corrective action
• Oversee bookkeeper duties
• Oversee and approve payroll and prepare all required payroll tax reports
• Manage budgets and forecasts
• Prepare Excel spreadsheets, Word docs & presentations
• Maintain the client work-in-progress status report, logging all incoming work and checking off work elements as they are completed
• Prepare personal and entity tax returns
• Maintain excellent client relationships

Qualifications

• CPA or EA is required
• Must be highly skilled in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• 5 years' in a public accounting field
• 3 years of tax preparation experience
• Strong understanding of the investment business
• Excellent interpersonal skills
