Job Summary:

The Account Executive is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Outside Sales Representative may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identify and establish contact with potential customers

• Schedule and perform sales calls with potential customers

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers

• Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with  existing customers

• Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales

• Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic

• Generate and submit sales reports to management
• Performs other related duties as directed.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Thorough understanding of the electrical industry and construction
• Impeccable interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excell, Outlook
• Ability to work independently and effective time management.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Education and Experience:

• Five years’ experience in electrical or construction trade
• Two years Sales experience in electrical or construction
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

Physical Requirements: 

• This position requires travel to different locations within Florida. This could require a lot of driving and an occasional overnight stay within designated territory. Company car or car allowance is provided.
